As a Counselor, I value providing my clients with a Safe Place to Heal and Grow. As your counselor, I will provide a safe, confidential, judgment-free, and open setting for you to come and explore all areas of your life. This journey is a shared experience between the client and the counselor. I will support you to achieve your goals and understand your thoughts, feelings, actions, and behaviors. I also want to assist you in finding your personal strengths, so that you can overcome your life stressors/challenges. I have experience working with children, and adults, at all stages and seasons.
I received my Master’s Degree in Counselor Education with an emphasis in Clinical Mental Health from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. I have worked in outpatient, residential, the Department of Corrections, and college settings helping individuals who struggled with substance abuse, suicide/self-harm, severe mental health, depression, anxiety, self-identity journey, and trauma. My ideal client are individuals who struggle with finding who they are(identity), are in relationship turmoil, parents who are wanting to work on their skills as a parent and learn how to raise healthy little adults, individuals who battle with daily struggles with their Substance Use/Addiction or need continued support, and Childhood Trauma.
