Brigid Miller (she/her) is a therapist treating individuals, couples, and families. Trained as an integrative therapist, Miller incorporates a wide range of evidence-based practice models to meet the needs of each client. Some of these include Emotionally Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Acceptance Commitment Therapy, and mindfulness-based work.
Your time in therapy is valuable, and I’m here to help you grow in the ways that are most important to you. My work with individuals, couples, and families includes difficulties with anxiety, depression, self-esteem, identity, trauma, ADHD, autism, and relationship issues. I also help couples and families with communication, disconnection, infidelity, parenting, and more. Together we will explore the significant relationships in your life, and using your inherent strengths, we will develop insight and strategies to bring the change you seek.
Demanding careers and family life can also tax our relationships and personal coping skills. I help clients navigate work/life balance, imposter syndrome, and professional burnout. Other areas of focus include family, life and career transitions; couples feeling disconnected; parenting special needs children; and family conflict. I welcome clients from diverse cultures, identities, and backgrounds and will honor the unique ways these areas impact your life.
Your goals are my priority.
After a career in a different field, I pursued my passion to become a therapist. I bring my professional and life experience, training, sense of humor, and focus to help explore the issues that are weighing you down. The most important element of successful therapy is that you find a therapist with whom you feel trust and connection. I welcome you to contact me to see if I am the right fit for you.
