Alex Chapman
Clinical Mental Health Counseling Intern
I work to create a safe, inclusive, and collaborative space where you can feel supported in exploring your story, your relationships, and your path toward healing. Whether you’re navigating the impact of trauma, recognizing unhelpful family patterns, or seeking to deepen your sense of connection, I can meet you where you are and help you move toward greater self-understanding and growth.
I am certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and integrate Emotion Focused Therapy, Attachment-Based Work, and a Family Systems approach. This allows us to address how past and present shape your well-being, while building new patterns for a more fulfilling future. I am LGBTQ+ affirming and committed to offering a safe, inclusive environment for people from diverse backgrounds, experiences, and identities.
I am currently completing my Masters in Counseling degree, at the University of Wisconsin–Whitewater. I am practicing under Supervisor’s Samia Khan, LPC, LMFT & CST ((LPC # 8414-125 & LMFT # 1468-124)), and Shannon Doherty, LMFT & AAMFT Approved Supervisor (Lic # 918-124), as I continue to grow in my independent work with clients. My passion for counseling stems from a deep respect for resilience and the belief that healing is possible when we feel safe, seen, and heard.
If you're seeking compassionate, holistic support to explore healing and connection, I’d be honored to walk alongside you. Contact me today to see if I might be the right fit for your journey.
